“Beautiful feelings Warm coffee We would drive to our coffee shop. You always got a latte, your favourite. I could never decide between a flat white or a cappuccino. I’d pay and you’d say “No! You didn’t have to do that” I’d smile and say “You deserve it” We drove back slowly with my hand on your leg. We park. I turn my engine off. You said to me,“Same time next week?” I smile, I didn’t even need to reply and you knew my answer. You put your legs on the dash and closed your eyes. Soaking in the caffeine you just consumed. I’d still be drinking my coffee, half empty. Or was it half full? Regardless, I love these moments. Same place, different time With You.”
